The SVA Showcase and Celebration event was a great success and well attended by colleagues from across the network and the Big Lottery Fund. We would like to extend our thanks to Kenny Moffat from Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire and Wendy Hand from Voluntary Action Shetland for their personal and organisational experiences.
We also heard from Jackie Killeen, Director of the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland, who was involved in the original development of the purposes and aims. With this perspective, Jackie spoke of the success of the SVA programme in reaching those overarching aims and bringing about postive change in the TSI network.
Paul White, Chair of the SVA Management Group, reflected on the resilience of the TSI network in the face of the economic downturn and success in participating in the opportunities within SVA programme in the face of such a changing landscape.
We would once again like to thank all our TSI colleagues, management and advisory group members and delivery partners for their contribution to the SVA programme.
Monitoring and evaluation work is still currently being undertaken and we look forward to sharing this learning with you. We are currently gathering stories like those told at the event by Voluntary Action Shetland and Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire, if you’ve got a story you’d like to share please contact supportingvoluntaryaction@scvo.org.uk.
